Return & Refund Policy
Our policy regarding returns and refunds for our products, kits, and lab services.
Introduction
This Return & Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions governing returns and refunds for services, physical kits, and digital products provided by Duet Power Private Limited, operating under the brand DUET STEM ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing our products or services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Lab Setup & Infrastructure Services
Applicable for AI & Robotics Labs, STEM Labs, ATL Labs, Science Labs, Astronomy Labs, AR/VR Labs, classroom interiors, themed wall painting, furniture, and complete lab setup.
Before Equipment Procurement / Manufacturing
If the project is cancelled before procurement or custom furniture manufacturing begins, we will refund 90% of the advance payment. The remaining 10% covers administrative and design expenses.
After Procurement but Before Installation
A refund of 70% of the total project value will be provided, considering hardware procurement and project preparation costs.
After Installation Has Begun
Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on project completion status and equipment reusability.
After Installation Completion
Once installation, painting, furniture setup, and lab handover have been completed and accepted by the institution, no refund shall be provided.
2. Physical Products (STEM Kits, Arduino & Sensors)
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive damaged or defective products, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. After verification, we will replace the defective parts or the entire kit free of charge.
Unopened Items
Unused and unopened products in their original packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Refunds will be issued after deducting shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee.
Used Items
Due to the nature of electronic components, opened, assembled, or used kits are not eligible for return or refund, unless a verified manufacturing defect exists.
3. Training & Workshops Refund Policy
Cancellation by Institution or Participant
- More than 14 days before the scheduled training – Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
- 7–14 days before the event – 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before the event – No refund.
Rescheduling
Instead of cancelling, institutions may reschedule their training session based on trainer availability.
4. Digital Resources & Certification
Before Access
A full refund is available before digital resources, portal access, or certification credentials have been issued.
After Access
Due to the nature of downloadable content and intellectual property, no refunds are available after accessing the learning portal, downloading materials, or starting certification programs.
5. How to Request a Refund or Return
Please follow these steps:
- Contact our support team at info@duetpower.in.
- Provide your Order Number or Purchase Order (PO), purchase date, and reason for the request.
- For damaged products, attach clear photographs showing the issue.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method or transferred directly to the purchasing institution's bank account. Processing time may vary depending on your bank.
